Noelle Lutton, MS, LPC

Welcome! For the past 14 years, I have had the honor to help many individuals, families, and couples find balance and rekindle passion for their relationships and life. I am a warm, compassionate therapist who realizes how much courage it can take to come to counseling. It is important to establish trust and good rapport with my clients so that they feel comfortable sharing their experiences and challenges. Using a strengths-based approach and techniques from my advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, I will help you navigate the challenges along your journey.

Individual Counseling
  • Anxiety

  • Panic Attacks

  • Depression

  • Education/Work/Career related challenges and/or stress

  • Life Challenges and Decisions

  • Parenting Skills

Above are a list of my specialties when working with individuals. Although I have had extensive experience working with children and adolescents, I am currently only accepting individual clients age 18 and older. My goal as a therapist is to guide my clients to a place where they have a strengthened relationship with themselves. A place where they can trust themselves to manage life’s general challenges, anxiety symptoms and/or depression so that it no longer consumes them in their daily lives. I do this using a variety of therapy techniques mainly those from EFT, CBT and Narrative therapy. The path that I take with my clients is largely dependent on where my client’s want to focus their time. I am respectful of the life experiences and narratives that my clients bring with them to therapy and how those experiences have shaped them as an individual.

Marriage/Couples Counseling
  • communication problems

  • infidelity

  • breach of trust

  • abandonment

  • better ways to move through conflict

  • frequent arguing

  • complaints of too much or too little expression of emotion with one another

The couples that I see in counseling can present with a wide variety of relationship concerns. Using the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I guide couples to help rekindle their relationship and nurture the bond between them. EFT has extensive research supporting its efficacy with helping couples. It is an attachment based therapy that focuses on helping couples restructure negative patterns in their relationship to one with more understanding and patience. Through this couples are able to move through difficult conversations/topics that formerly would be triggering while maintaining a sense of closeness with one another. With a better understanding of themselves and one another the attachment bond between the two tends to become stronger.
