A compassionate therapist dedicated to your healing journey
For the past 16 years, I have had the honor to help many individuals, families, and couples find balance and rekindle passion for their relationships and life. I am a warm, compassionate therapist who realizes how much courage it can take to come to counseling.
It is important to me to establish trust and good rapport so that you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and challenges. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I work to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Using a strengths-based approach and techniques from my advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, I will help you navigate the challenges along your journey.
I am respectful of the life experiences and narratives that you bring to therapy and how those experiences have shaped you as an individual. My goal is to help you build upon your existing strengths while developing new skills and insights that will serve you long after our work together.
Although I have had extensive experience working with children and adolescents, I am currently only accepting clients age 18 and older. My practice focuses on:
My goal is to guide you to a place where you have a strengthened relationship with yourself and with your significant other. A place where you can trust yourself to manage life's general challenges, anxiety symptoms, and/or depression so that it no longer consumes your daily life. For couples, that means building a deeper understanding and connection that helps you navigate life together with more patience and closeness.
I do this using a variety of therapy techniques, mainly those from EFT, CBT, and Narrative Therapy. The path we take together is largely dependent on where you want to focus your time. I believe in meeting you where you are and tailoring our work together to your unique needs and goals.
