I work with adults age 18 and older who are seeking support for a variety of concerns. My goal is to guide you to a place where you have a strengthened relationship with yourself and with those who matter most to you—a place where you can trust yourself to manage life's general challenges, anxiety symptoms, and/or depression so that it no longer consumes your daily life.

Specialties & Areas of Focus

Anxiety & Panic Attacks

If you're struggling with anxiety or panic attacks, you're not alone. I can help you understand your anxiety, develop coping strategies, and reduce the impact it has on your daily life. Using CBT and other evidence-based techniques, we'll work together to help you feel more in control.

I also offer SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) training for parents of children and adolescents experiencing anxiety. Developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center, SPACE is an evidence-based parent-focused program that helps you learn how to respond to your child's anxiety in a way that is both supportive and empowering. Rather than requiring your child to attend therapy, SPACE works through you as the parent—helping you reduce patterns of accommodation that can unintentionally maintain your child's anxiety, while building your child's confidence in their ability to cope. Research has shown SPACE to be as effective as CBT for childhood anxiety, with approximately 87% of children showing significant improvement.

Depression

Depression can make it difficult to find joy and motivation in life. I provide compassionate support to help you understand your depression, identify patterns that contribute to it, and develop strategies to improve your mood and overall well-being.

Work & Career Stress

Work-related stress can impact every area of your life. Whether you're dealing with burnout, workplace conflict, career transitions, or job-related anxiety, I can help you develop healthier boundaries and coping strategies.

Life Transitions

Life is full of transitions—some planned, some unexpected. Whether you're navigating a career change, relationship shift, relocation, or other major life change, I can help you process these transitions and adapt in healthy ways.

Life Challenges & Decisions

Sometimes life presents us with difficult decisions or challenges that feel overwhelming. I provide a supportive space to explore your options, clarify your values, and make decisions that align with who you are and what you want.

Parenting Skills & Child Anxiety Support

Parenting can be one of the most rewarding yet challenging experiences. I help parents develop effective parenting strategies, manage stress, and navigate the complexities of raising children while maintaining their own well-being. If your child is struggling with anxiety, I can work with you using the SPACE approach to help you support your child's emotional health—without your child needing to be in the therapy room.

My Approach to Individual Therapy

I use a variety of therapy techniques, mainly those from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. The path we take together is largely dependent on where you want to focus your time.

I am respectful of the life experiences and narratives that you bring to therapy and how those experiences have shaped you as an individual. My approach is:

  • Strengths-based: Building on your existing strengths and resources
  • Collaborative: Working together to identify goals and develop treatment plans
  • Respectful: Honoring your experiences and perspectives
  • Tailored: Adapting my approach to your unique needs and preferences
  • Evidence-based: Using techniques supported by research

What to Expect

In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your situation and history, and we'll begin to develop a plan for our work together.

Subsequent sessions will focus on:

  • Exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences
  • Identifying patterns that may be contributing to your concerns
  • Developing new skills and strategies
  • Working toward your goals
  • Building your confidence in managing challenges

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I'll regularly check in with you about how therapy is going and whether we're addressing the concerns that matter most to you.

Take the First Step

If you're ready to begin your journey toward greater well-being, I'm here to help. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or other concerns, I provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore, grow, and heal.
